Directions
The hotel is located on the campus of the Freie Universität Berlin in Berlin Dahlem. The closest subway station is Dahlem Dorf (subway U3). From the subway station Dahlem Dorf it is a 6-minute walk to the hotel.
For participants from abroad the closest airport is Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), which is located about 29 km (18 miles) away from the conference hotel.
From Berlin Brandenburg Airport take the FEX train (direction Berlin Hauptbahnhof/Berlin main station) to Südkreuz. From Südkreuz take the city train S 41 to Heidelberger Platz. From Heidelberger Platz take the subway U3 (direction Krumme Lanke) to Dahlem Dorf.

Accommodation and Meals
Throughout the conference period, a block of single rooms has been reserved for all participants at the hotel. To avoid double reservations please do not contact the hotel directly.
Room charges for all invited participants will be billed directly to the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation for the following dates: arrival 8 October 2026/ departure 11 October 2026 (or if required 12 October 2026 for participants from Japan and the United States). Any additional nights apart from the dates listed will have to be covered by the individual participant. You will also be responsible for additional charges or any incidental charges upon check-out.
Costs for meals as indicated in the conference program will be covered by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation for all participants.
Exclusion of Liability
Please understand that all partner organizations are neither liable for any physical injury or damage to property that may occur during your travels to the meeting site and back home nor during your stay at the meeting site itself.
